While maintaining the characteristics that made the J-45 famous, this special edition stands out for its use of highly selected materials and a series of exclusive aesthetic details, designed to celebrate one of the most iconic models in Gibson's history.
The solid Sitka Bear Claw spruce top is paired with solid mahogany back and sides, enhanced by multi-layer binding with abalone inlays and a mahogany neck with a SlimTaper™ profile.
The rosewood fingerboard features 20 standard frets and pearl dot inlays, providing smooth and natural playability, ideal for any performance style.
Thanks to the L.R. Baggs VTC electronics, the J-45 Anniversary Limited Edition is perfectly stage- and studio-ready. The system includes a piezoelectric under-saddle transducer and an active preamplifier with volume and tone controls mounted inside the soundhole, easily accessible yet visually discreet. This configuration ensures natural and dynamic sound reproduction, preserving the instrument's tonal personality even in amplified settings.
