The ES-359 is the upscale version of the ES-339, much like the Les Paul Custom is to the Les Paul Standard, or the ES-355 is to the ES-335. Its compact size and lighter weight make it exceptionally comfortable to play; this particular example weighs just 3.62 kg (7.98 lbs). It features a laminated maple body, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. Electronics consist of a pair of Classic '57 humbuckers, delivering warm, vintage-inspired tones. As expected from a premium model, it boasts numerous luxury appointments, including multiple bindings, block inlays, and the iconic split-diamond headstock inlay—all the hallmarks of a true Custom.
