1992 Fender Super 112 “Red Knob” – Made in USAA great example of the early-1990s Fender “Red Knob” era, this Super 112 was made in the USA in December 1992, as indicated by its original “CL” Fender Quality Assurance date code.The Super 112 is a powerful all-tube 1x12 combo delivering 60 watts through its original Fender Special Design 12" 8-ohm speaker. It features two channels, with a classic Fender clean channel and a separate overdrive section with independent Gain and Volume controls.The clean side offers plenty of headroom, clarity and punch, while the overdrive channel provides considerably more gain when required. The EQ section includes Treble, Mid and Bass controls, together with onboard spring reverb and Fender’s Presence control with pull-for-notch function.The rear panel features an auxiliary speaker output, line out, Power Amp In and Preamp Out, making the amp particularly versatile for both stage and studio use.The amplifier is in good overall condition for its age and works properly. The cabinet and control panel are well preserved, while the original grille cloth shows numerous stains and marks from use, clearly visible in the photographs.
