Overview
The signature guitar of The Strokes Nick Valensi, this Riviera stays mostly true to vintage specifications with the exception of a pair of P94 single coil pickups. The Elitist model debuted in 2006, and featured a 5-ply maple top, compared to the standard production Valensi Riviera's laminate maple top. The two models can be distinguished by the Elitist's black truss rod cover, and the "Elite" or "Elitist" logo on the back of the headstock.
