While an alder body with a chic cloud maple top and a screwed "speed neck" made of caramelized maple form the basis of the classic So-Cal design, active EMG pickups in the HSS setup provide multi-faceted clean and overdrive sounds that cut through the band mix with high precision even at low tunings and fast playing. An ideal guitar for the progressive techniques of rock and metal, the Marco Sfogli Signature Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HSS FR CM QM Transparent Purple Brust naturally features a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo.So-Cal guitar with excellent handlingDespite its classic appearance, the Marco Sfogli So-Cal Style 1 impresses with its successful handling for the modern playing techniques of progressive rock and metal. While the alder body fits the body with comfortable stability thanks to the generous belly carve, the curved "Shredder's Cut Heel" allows unhindered access to the highest registers. With a pleasantly flat "Speed Neck " profile and compound fingerboard radius, the graphite-reinforced caramelized maple bolt-on neck fits perfectly in the hand, making every riff and solo come off with ease on the 22-fret fingerboard. In addition to the beautiful cloud maple top, the Signature guitar also features practical Luminlay side dots, which ensure the best orientation even in poor lighting. Active EMG pickups for flexible soundsThanks to the HSS setup realized with active EMG pickups, the Signature Pro-Mod So-Cal impresses at the guitar amplifier with a broadly diversified sound image that skilfully puts clean and overdrive sounds in the limelight. In neck and middle position, EMG SA single coils armed with Alnico V magnets provide airy sounds with brilliant highs and clear response that always remain free of ambient noise. At the bridge, on the other hand, an EMG 89 Alnico humbucker delivers juicy Output for hot distortion sounds with perfect tone contour even during drop tunings. The humbucker can also be split via the push/pull switch in the volume control to expand the repertoire of the electric guitar. Floyd Rose TremoloAs a guitar for virtuoso prog shredding, the Marco Sfogli Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HSS FR CM QM Transparent Purple Burst naturally features a tuning-stable locking tremolo. Here Charvel and Marco Sfogli rely on the proven Floyd Rose 1000 system, which with its buttery smooth handling makes the implementation of advanced playing techniques child's play. Behind the locking saddle, precise Charvel Die-Cast tuners quickly and safely bring the guitar into the correct tuning.
