This is a reproduction of the Ring Modulator by Carlin Pedals, a legendary vintage brand from Sweden!
The original model is said to have consisted of only three units, and was extensively experimented with in the 1970s Swedish progressive music scene by artists such as "Trad gras & stenar," "Kaipa," "Peps Person Blodsband," and "Samla Mammas Manna." It's a true analog ring modulator characterized by sharp harmonics and a strong, gritty sound. It's also possible to blend two input signals and create interaction between them. This is a versatile ring modulator pedal. The simplest method is using only a guitar input and amp output. It operates as a standard mono effect. It produces a dirty sound with unique harmonics. It's a rough, gritty ring modulator tone. Due to its high sensitivity, the tone can be altered by picking, etc. While its responsiveness is like a good fuzz pedal, the sound is completely different. Furthermore, by placing a boost pedal or similar device before the main signal and inputting a strong signal, you can achieve a sound with natural compression. The style of using only one input, one output, Mix A, and Volume controls is considered a traditional setup. This is serial #14, an early Green Hammer Tone model.
