Buffet R13 – Full Boehm System (Recently Overhauled, Excellent Condition)

Up for sale is a Buffet R13 Clarinet Full Boehm, a rare and unique instrument that is no longer in production. This is a great option for players looking for something beyond a standard Boehm setup.

Condition & Maintenance:

• ✔️ Recently completed a full overhaul (pads replaced, fully serviced)
• ✔️ Mechanically in excellent condition, ready to play
• ✔️ Produces a rich, focused tone with great response

Body Condition:

• ✔️ Upper joint, lower joint, and bell: no cracks, all in excellent condition
• ✔️ Comes with two original barrels
• ⚠️ One barrel had a previous crack (shown clearly in photos)

Key Feature – Full Boehm System:

• This Full Boehm version includes additional keywork, some of which is similar to features found on certain modern Buffet Crampon 21st Century Clarinet models
• However, this is an earlier original design from decades ago, long discontinued and no longer in production
• Allows playing down to low Eb, rather than the standard low E
• Provides added technical flexibility for advanced repertoire (like pines of rome)
