For sale is a rare vintage stereo pair of Neve 1089A. These have the same exact parts, design, frequency points and layout of a vintage Neve 1073. The only difference in operation between a 1089a and a 1073 is the line input section gainstage is reserved on the 1089, so you will see these go from loud to quiet clockwise on the gainstage followed by off. 1073s go from quiet to loud moving clockwise and then to off. The preamp gain section is identical on both. They also have German markings on them for "AF" instead of "Off" , "Effen" instead of "EQ" and "Fase" instead of "Phase". Das ist super-cool! The 1089a is certainly are more rare than the more common 1073, but even vintage original 1073s are getting harder to find. These are fully functional and in excellent shape. They just got back from full servicing as needed by in-house by our technicians. Come racked in an AMS Neve 2-way 80-series 19" rack. Sounds amazing as a vintage 1073/1089a should.
