The Danelectro Cool Cat Fuzz V2 (CF-2) is a budget-friendly, metal-housed pedal known for a "trashy," high-gain sound with a "thick" bottom end and a "fizzy" top end. It features a stacked Volume/Tone/Fuzz control scheme, with internal DIP switches for further sonic adjustment and a "hidden" input sensitivity trim pot for tweaking gain levels.

Key Features and Details

• Sound Profile: Described as having a "trashy" and "fizzy" character rather than a smooth, vintage fuzz tone, sometimes noted as being less refined than boutique alternatives.
• Controls: Features a 3-knob setup (Volume, Tone, Fuzz) which are on the back of the pedal.
• "Under the Hood" Features: The V2 includes a small trim pot inside the battery compartment that acts as an input sensitivity adjustment, allowing users to control how hard the pedal is driven.
• Build: Housed in a durable,, solid metal casing.
• Circuit: Often compared to other fuzz circuits, such as the Frantone Peachfuzz
