This is one of those black boxes that helped define what rock guitar sounds like. The Marshall The Guv’nor Vintage Reissue is more than just an overdrive pedal, it’s a faithful translation of a cranked Marshall amp into a compact format. The tone is thick, mid-focused and gritty in the right way, with a response that follows your picking hand and your guitar’s volume effortlessly. From biting crunch to saturated drive, it always feels alive, organic and inspiring. A pedal with real attitude, built for players who want their sound to speak loud and clear.
