Hello,

We are selling a Taurus classical Spanish guitar, made for the Garrido company. The guitar comes with its original Garrido branded hard case.

The Taurus guitar brand was founded in Barcelona, Spain, by luthiers from the famous Juan Estruch company. The Taurus worshop handmade high end guitar, similar to Ramirez, until 1984. According to the family of the original owner, this example dates from the early 70's.

This is a beautiful guitar: it is made of solid back and sides Madagascar rosewood with very nice grain. You can see the engraved golden Taurus logo under the Garrido company sticker. On top of that, this guitar benefits from axe holders clinched tuners onto the base plate, which were only found on high-end model (58 or 60). All the various inlays/binding look stunning (see pictures)

The guitar is well played because it sounds great. It is however structurally sound: the neck is straight and the action is low, so playability is optimal. Nice and resonant guitar, with a clearly defined but full sound.
