The Bananalogue VCFQ is a eurorack multimode filter module, based on
1970s analogue design philosophies.
The module has four outputs: HI PASS, LO PASS, NOTCH, and BANDPASS.
Two inputs, one with attenuator that can be overdriven and one with
"auto-gain compensation" - this input uses a VCA to duck the signal to
prevent distortion when the Q increases. TRIG IN allows a pulse to
ring the filter for percussive effects. RANGE switches the response
from audio to subaudio, allowing for processing of CV signals.
Cutoff frequency has both an attenuverter input and a 1V/OCT input
(not thermally compensated). Resonance has an attenuator input as
well (this is where the VCFQ gets its name from).
