Normal and Top Boost Channels! For those who crave more power, the AC30 expands on the captivating sound of its little brother by doubling the wattage. Employing a quartet of EL84 power tubes, the AC30 Custom pumps 30 watts of remarkable tone through a pair of 12” Celestion Greenback or Alnico Blue speakers. Capable of both enchanting clean and raucous overdriven sounds, the signature chime of the AC30 Custom pairs seamlessly the intricacies of your playing style, resulting in a sound that is truly your own. Perhaps the most iconic amplifier in VOX’s pedigree, the AC30 earned its place in history as the amplifier that powered the British Invasion. Since then, the AC30 has remained the choice of the world’s most accomplished artists who have come to rely on its unique voice to amplify theirs.Shop notes: "This amp is truly an icon. It's a perennial favorite here at Harry's, and our go-to amp for demos here in the shop. It brings out the true character of any guitar you plug into it, and emotes with overtones and harmonics that you didn't even know your guitar had. It works well with any pickups...single-coil or humbuckers, and most of all it really "plays well with others." So what does that mean? I'm sure you've tried amps that sound great at home or at the shop, but when you put them on stage with your band, they just seem to get lost in the mix. The AC30, especially when equipped with the Celestion Blues, has the uncanny ability to sit in an onstage mix and make itself known, never clashing with other instruments or losing that tonal quality that you fell in love with in the first place with this amp. If I'm being honest, I've always had a preference for tube amps for one simple reason. Because of the way that tube amps produce their tones, you have to "play" the amp in the same way that you play the guitar. For me, it doubles the fun of playing guitar. I get to coax sounds, clean, dirty, or somewhere in the middle, out of an amp rather than just having the amp simply amplify what I play. I guarantee you that if you call any backline company in the world that rents gear to musicians for shows, they willl always have an AC30 in their arsenal...there's a reason for that." - Mike AyersSpecs:Output power: 30 Watts RMS @ 16 OhmsSpeakers: 2 x 12″ Celestion Alnico BlueInputs: 1 x Normal High Input Jack, 1 x Normal Low Input Jack, 1 x Top Boost High Input Jack, 1 x Top Boost Low Input Jack, 1 x FX Return JackOutputs: 1 x External Speaker Jack, 1 x Extension Speaker Jack, 1 x FX Send JackControls: Master Volume, Master Tone Cut, Normal Volume, Top Boost Volume, Top Boost Bass, Top Boost Treble, Reverb Tone, Reverb Level, Tremolo Speed, Tremolo DepthTube Compliment: 4 x EL84Dimensions (w x d x h): 27.64 x 10.43 x 21.89 inchesWeight: 70 lbsAccessories (sold separately): VFS2A Foot Switch
