Roland XV-5080:
A versatile and powerful rack synth at a great price!
Description
The Roland XV-5080, released in 2000, is a flagship 128-voice rack-mounted synthesizer. The XV presets are exceptional, with lifelike stereo grand piano, stereo strings, rock organ, and warm analog synths. To help bring out the quality of the professional-grade waveforms, the XV-5080 includes 24-bit digital-to-analog converters (DAC), for dynamic sound quality. The XV-5080 has 4x analog outs and an S / PDIF digital out. USB-MIDI is also an option, and the synth has four SRX expansion slots for Roland's Wave Expansion Boards. These can expand the possible sounds of this synth! Finally, patches can be edited and customized in a deep yet intuitive. manner. Surprisingly, Roland was able to offer all of these features for a very competitive price.
This synthesizer is in Very Good condition, with signs of aging, including some scratches and paint peeling (see photos). The unit has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed the integrity and flawless operation of the unit.
