This bass I have from 1979 I got it when I worked at a music store. Its an excellent instrument that I strangely hardly used. After a few months I decided to make it even more Wal and asked a known luthier to make a fret-less neck , I didn't knew I could buy a neck from Wal. The fret-less neck is replaced but included in the deal. The bass is playing wonderfully it sounds as it should.
The body has cracks in the paint but there are no damages to the wood. I didn't want to replace the paint as you can hardly feel those cracks and I wanted to keep the bass as original as possible. It comes with the original case. No other damages. This bass is registered in the Wal database : serial PB1154 on my name. The bass is completed with the original case that is in good condition the locks work but I do not have the keys.
My luthier told me he could without any problem repaint the body, its not a difficult job. But as mentioned that's to the new owner.
I ship the bass for free in the Netherlands. internationally I have moderated shipping costs. I can provide a really good box around the case ready for international shipping. But you can also come to my home try ,play, enjoy and pick up your selves.
Ask me whatever you want to know about this wonder.
