True Temperament Fender Stratocaster Sonic Blue & Gold Custom Guitar

This is a guitar custom built in shop with a True Temperament neck. True Temperament means that the frets are shaped in such a way to leave the guitar perfectly in tune at all times with each other note across the fretboard.

All other guitars use Equal Temperament tuning systems---which leaves each note interval slightly out of tune. As such, switching between different chords or using open strings while higher in the neck will lead to a grating sound on normal guitars.

This guitar compensates for the interval adjustments needed to keep the guitar in tune fret by fret. You can switch chords and play open strings higher up the neck and rely on pitch perfect notes every time.

It also has the highest possible quality pickups, with Custom 69 pickups for the neck and middle position and Fat 50's for the bridge.

This guitar would be particularly useful for people who play professionally with other instruments, who play sensitive jazz chords that require balanced intervals (or midwest, math-rock, etc), and for metal players. Steve Vai famously owns several True Temperament guitars.

It has a beautiful sonic blue body (Fender LTD Loaded) that blends well with the dark neck and golden knobs. Best deal around for a True Temperament guitar if you want one.

There are a few minor scratches on the top of the back of the body by the strap button and a small dent on the side (shown above). Otherwise, the Guitar is in near-mint condition.
