SIMMONS SDS400 Drum Synthesizer. Very good and working condition.
Unit of 4 channels, a programmable tom tom run generator, flexible sound manipulation and a wider choice of audio outs — mono mix, stereo, or individual outs are all available. All voices feature pad sensitivity (complete with trigger-indicating L.E.D.) filter pitch and sweep, tone pitch and bend, decay, noise/tone balance, the click level, and channel level. Circuitry in the voice control recognises these signals across a logarithmic trigger curve and instructs the drum voice to sound in accordance with the strenght of the strike. A result of a vastly and higly expanded controllable dynamic range. This is a very rare second module by the SDS 800 series.
