Cette Firebird est une pièce unique, une véritable œuvre d'art sortie du Custom Shop Gibson. Il s'agit d'une Firebird V (deux micros mini humbucker, chevalet tune o matic, manche traversant à repères en parallélogrammes) en finition Gold avec un sublime pinstriping noir digne des plus beaux hot rod. Pour parfaire le tout, elle a été soigneusement vieillie sans que ça soit caricatural.
Et le son dans tout ça ? Imparable. La Firebird la plus épaisse qu'il nous ait été donné d'entendre, mais qui n'oublie pas pour autant l'agressivité typique du modèle.

This Firebird is a true work of art from the Gibson Custom Shop. What we have here is a Firebird V (with twin mini humbuckers, tune o matic bridge, neck through) in a Gold finish with black pingstriping, worthy of the coolest hot rod. To make it even more perfect, it's been slightly aged.
What about sound you say? Undeniable. It is the fattest-sounding Firebird we've had the chance to hear, but it still keeps that agressive edge typical of the vintage birds.
