If set the depth knob to 0, you can use tremolo as a clean boost. On the PCB there is a gain adjustment trim that allows you to adjust the maximum volume of the Volume knob.
True bypass with a soft switch on the polatized relay made it possible to make the signal route as short as possible and close to the sockets.
Tremolo has additional Hold mode. In this mode  the tremolo is active only when you hold the bypass button. When the button is released, the tremolo goes to bypass.
