Rare 2007 Gibson Les Paul Robot First Run in the stunning Blue Silverburst finish – professionally converted to conventional locking tuners, with the removed original Robot components included.

For sale is my Gibson Les Paul Robot First Run from 2007, one of Gibson's most unusual and collectible limited-edition Les Paul models.

The original Robot Guitar was introduced as an innovative self-tuning instrument. This particular guitar has since been converted to a conventional tuning system, making it an excellent player's Les Paul while retaining the original parts for collectors.

Features:

• Gibson Les Paul Robot First Run Limited Edition
• Year: 2007
• Rare Blue Silverburst finish
• Mahogany body with maple top
• Mahogany neck
• Bound fingerboard and headstock
• Gibson humbucking pickups
• Tune-o-matic bridge
• High-quality conventional locking tuners
• Beautiful original limited-edition appearance

Conversion and original parts:

The original automatic tuning system has been removed and replaced with conventional locking machine heads.

All removed original Robot components are included, including the original powered tuners, electronic components, control parts and associated accessories.

The original Robot electronics have not been retested after removal and are therefore included as untested parts.

Condition:

The guitar is in very good playing condition and has been carefully set up. It has some normal age-related signs of use, including minor surface marks and scratches, but no known structural damage.

The conventional locking tuners make it easy to maintain and tune, without relying on the original automatic tuning system.

Why this guitar is special:

The first-generation Robot Les Paul is an interesting part of Gibson's history. Its beautiful Blue Silverburst finish and distinctive limited-edition appointments set it apart from standard Les Paul models.

This example offers a combination of vintage Gibson character, practical modern tuning and the included original Robot components.
