Product Details

A Yamaha YFL-897 has arrived.

This is a top-of-the-line model made of solid silver, part of Yamaha's handmade "Ideal" series of flutes.

This model features a Type A headjoint.

Type A is characterized by its unique lip plate shape, large undercut, and deep two-stage taper, providing a wide dynamic range and excellent articulation even at pianissimo.

It responds faithfully to even the most delicate breath control, while producing a rich, expansive sound when played firmly, offering a wide range of expressive possibilities.

Furthermore, this particular instrument features custom engraving on the head cap, body ring, lip plate, and keys, resulting in a truly magnificent instrument.

It has a distinct presence compared to the standard YFL-897, and the detailed engraving further enhances the high-quality appearance unique to a handmade model.

It also employs soldered undercut tone holes, achieving a brilliant sound that is both rich and expansive.

For those seeking a special YFL-897 that boasts not only excellent playability but also a meticulously crafted appearance, this is a highly recommended instrument.

This particular instrument, featuring custom engraving different from the standard specifications, is a rare find.

Please consider this opportunity!
