Vintage TASCAM 388 Studio 8 multitrack tape recorder and analog mixer.

Condition & Operation

According to the previous owner, this unit was originally owned by one person for approximately 40 years.

The motor rubber was replaced approximately 10 years ago, and the reels rotate properly.

Basic recording and playback were tested using a microphone input.

Other functions have not been fully tested.

As this is vintage analog recording equipment, some familiarity with reel-to-reel tape recorders and basic maintenance is recommended.
