Schecter Hellraiser C-8 Electric Guitar in Black Cherry

The Hellraiser C-8 is built for eight-string extended-range playing with a thin, comfortable neck and a 28" scale that demands serious commitment to lower-tuned, heavier music. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access cutaway makes upper-fret work effortless, while the mahogany body with quilted maple top delivers both visual presence and the resonance required for extended-range performance.

Playability & Neck Performance

The mahogany 3-piece neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists neck dive and ensures long-term stability. A thin "C" profile (0.787" at the first fret, 0.866" at the 12th fret) paired with 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16" radius rosewood fretboard enables fast, articulate playing across all registers. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and Schecter locking tuners lock in tuning reliably, essential for the demands of eight-string tuning.

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG 808 active pickups (bridge and neck) deliver the focused, articulate output needed for extended-range applications, controlled via independent volume knobs, a master tone control, and a 3-way switch. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body design maximizes sustain and resonance while a 9-volt battery compartment powers the active electronics.
