ANTAR is a handmade ukulele brand created by luthier Kaoru Aoki, who operates his workshop in Tachikawa, Tokyo. Each instrument is carefully crafted to bring out the individuality of the wood, while incorporating distinctive designs with a subtle vintage character.

This is the ANTAR Soprano Long Neck Walnut, a used long-neck soprano ukulele featuring a rare Solid Walnut body.

The light brown color and understated grain of the Walnut create a warm, vintage-inspired appearance. The distinctive rope-style purfling further enhances the character of the instrument, giving it a refined yet individual look.

The Walnut body produces a clear and well-balanced tone with a calm, mature character. The natural depth and subdued color of the wood are complemented by the instrument's straightforward and articulate response.

The fingerboard features a gentle radius rather than a completely flat surface. This provides a natural and comfortable fretting feel and gives the instrument a playing experience that is somewhat different from a conventional ukulele.

The long-neck soprano format combines the compact body of a soprano with an extended scale length, providing a comfortable balance between the familiar soprano body size and a more spacious playing feel.

There are some fine scratches in the finish throughout the instrument, but there are no significant scratches or noticeable damage. Overall, it remains in very good condition for a used instrument.
