Mint-condition NS Design CR5 5-string electric violin. Beautifully designed, exceptionally versatile, and built for serious players, the CR5 combines the familiar response of a fine violin with the expanded range and possibilities of a professional electric instrument.

The five-string configuration adds a low C string, extending the range into viola territory while retaining the feel and playability of a violin. The solid-body design makes it especially well suited to amplified performance, recording, effects, looping, and contemporary acoustic/electric setups.

Designed by Ned Steinberger, the CR Series is NS Design’s professional-level line, with excellent craftsmanship, ergonomic design, and a sophisticated onboard electronics system that offers a wide range of tonal possibilities.

Exceptionally clean and very lightly used, with no issues. It has been carefully stored and maintained. Comes with hard shell case in absolute mint condition.

A fantastic instrument for a violinist looking to expand into electric playing, or for an electric player looking for a high-quality five-string instrument with tremendous range and flexibility.
