Testata poco ingombrante, piuttosto leggera e facile da portare in giro.
L'ampli è dotato di 6 Voices e 6 differenti simulazioni di circuiti per modellare a piacimento il suono.
In esso sono anche presenti Delay, Chorus e Tremolo, anch'essi modellabili a piacimento. Ci sono 4 varianti di ogni effetto con Rate e Level modificabile.
La porta USB permette di usare l'amplificatore come interfaccia audio per registrare direttamente sul computer e di collegarlo al software per la modifica avanzata dei suoni.
L'equalizzazione si presenta in Bass, Middle, Treble, ma anche in Presence, Resonance e il classico parametro della Blackstar: l'ISF.
Sul retro si trovano 2 output per il cabinet a 8 OHM, un'Entrata Midi, un'Entrata MP3 e un Emulated Output che permette di usare l'ampli anche solo con le cuffie.
Purtroppo ho perso il Footswitch.
