The Gibson SG Standard '61 is a return to its roots. It encapsulates all the specifications cherished by guitarists worldwide from the original SG of 1961.
Specifically, it features a Slim Taper neck profile, which is very fast, and a neck-to-body joint that is situated at the 22nd fret, making access to the higher frets extremely easy.
The pickups are Gibson BurstBucker 61R and BurstBucker 61T, humbuckers with vintage characteristics, delivering a sound that is both warm and powerful. The traditional electronics are characterized by logarithmic potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors.
