The Taylor Presentation Series PS14ce represents one of the most elevated expressions of modern acoustic craftsmanship, pairing rare tonewoods with meticulous detail work and a stage-ready design philosophy. Its Grand Auditorium body is built around a striking combination of sinker redwood on top and Honduran rosewood for the back and sides, a pairing that feels both luxurious and deeply musical. The natural gloss finish lets the wood speak visually as much as it does sonically, while the California Vine inlay theme ties the entire instrument together with a refined, organic aesthetic that feels distinctly West Coast Taylor.
That sense of ease continues along the ebony fingerboard, where the scale and radius create a clean, even response under both chord work and lead playing. The setup feels designed for fluidity—barre chords sit comfortably, bends stay controlled, and single-note lines feel articulate without extra effort. Even dynamic shifts, from soft fingerstyle to more aggressive strumming, translate smoothly thanks to how responsive the sinker redwood top is, reacting instantly without feeling jumpy or unpredictable.
Visually and thematically, the California Vine inlays are a defining part of the PS14ce’s identity. Running along the fingerboard and headstock, the inlay design evokes flowing natural growth and subtle vine-like patterns rendered in elegant detail that feel more artistic than ornamental. It ties directly into the Presentation Series idea of nature-inspired luxury, reinforcing the connection between tonewoods, craftsmanship, and organic design. Instead of flashy decoration, it feels integrated into the instrument’s personality, giving the guitar a cohesive visual rhythm that matches its smooth, expressive playing feel.
Available at Haggerty’s Music, the PS14ce stands as a true Presentation Series flagship where rare tonewoods, elegant California Vine inlays, and high-end Taylor engineering come together in a guitar built for players who expect both artistry and uncompromising performance.
