Original vintage 1972 Maestro Fz-1S Fuzz-Tone pedal in great working condition. It's got classic “satisfaction” fuzz tone, 2 fuzz modes: 1 is tight low end fuzz, 2 engages a gated high pass filter for psych fuzz tonal bliss. Pots all date (49th week, 1972) ie: December 1972. Serial #: 300701 replaced screw at the case. See pictures for condition.A 9v adapter is included for easy plug-in to your pedalboard which can be un-snapped allowing the original 9v battery connection if you prefer.Great vintage fuzz here...Please check out my site for more quality rare vintage gear. Overview

Maestro was a brand operated by Gibson from the '50s to the '70s. The FZ-1 Fuzz Tone was introduced in the early '60s along with the Echoplex tape echo, and both rank as absolutely classic vintage guitar effects. The Fuzz Tone evolved throughout the '60s with different battery requirements, as well as expanding control options and new casings. It was an original FZ-1A that Keith Richards used to record the riff on Satisfaction -- possibly the most famous recorded Fuzz tone of all time.
