Electric Soul presents a Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway from 2005.The instrument comes in a Trans Black finish with a beautiful flamed maple top. It looks very striking and brings to mind guitars from PRS, for which this version of the Les Paul is a direct competitor.This is a guitar for players who want a Gibson but are worried about the comfort and ergonomics of a heavy, traditional Les Paul. The guitar is extremely lightweight (3.36 kg), has a slim and fast modern-style neck (60s Slim Taper, 24 frets), and offers excellent access to the highest frets.This example is equipped with excellent Gibson 498T/490R pickups known from the Les Paul Custom model, as well as solid vintage-style hardware, Kluson-style tuners and a Faber ABR bridge. The guitar also has an additional volume knob and a push-pull pot that allows coil splitting. Because of this, it can deliver not only classic Gibson tones, but also a touch of Fender-style sounds.The guitar is in very good condition. It has small signs of use (micro scratches and tiny dents), but overall it looks fantastic for an instrument that is more than 20 years old. Technically, everything is in perfect working order.The original hard case is included.
