The "Firebird" first hit the market in 1963, shaking up the guitar world with its flashy looks and neck-through construction. This 2017 High Performance version is a far cry from the original model. It swaps the traditional pickups for a pair of aggressive ceramic magnet humbuckers: a 496R in the neck and a 500T in the bridge. The body and glued-in neck are both made of mahogany, and the neck is built for speed. It also features the G-Force automatic tuning system.
