Based on the FX80B Compressor Sustainer circuit, it was meticulously reworked to better handle low-end frequencies. Key SpecificationsVersions: Two primary iterations exist. The early 1987 version features Level, Attack, and Compression knobs, while the version released later that same year replaced the Attack control with a Release knob.Circuitry: Uses a Dynacomp-style circuitoptimized for bass, providing smooth and punchy compression action.Compatibility: While tailored for bass, it is often used with acoustic or low-tuned guitars.
