The Gold Edge impresses with a very open, warm and brilliant tone. The thermally treated Sitka spruce top responds exceptionally quickly and projects clearly and dynamically, while the flamed myrtlewood body delivers a balanced sound with sparkling highs, defined mids and clear lows – ideal for fingerstyle, light strumming and flatpicking alike. The X-bracing is hand-scalloped and supports the natural sound development in every playing style. The active L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup combines a microphone and piezo element for an extremely natural sound in live performances.

The playing feel benefits from the balanced mahogany neck with a comfortable “Comfort C” profile, flat fingerboard radius and fine string action. The elegant ebony fingerboard with detailed abalone inlays is not only a visual highlight, but also offers a pleasant feel.
