The Way Huge Penny Saver Royale is a dual-function modulation and overdrive pedal, combining two of Joe Bonamassaâs favourite Way Huge circuits into a single powerhouse unit. Whether you need punchy, dynamic overdrive or lush, swirling chorus, this pedal delivers versatile tone shaping with seamless integration between both effects.

On one side, the Overrated Special Overdrive provides gritty, mid-focused drive, perfect for boosting solos, adding warmth to clean tones, or pushing an amp into rich saturation. The Blue Hippo Chorus on the other side offers deep, liquid modulation, with a custom delay time tailored to Bonamassaâs preferences, ensuring smooth, organic movement that enhances lead lines and rhythm textures.

Players can run each effect independently or combine them for a thick, harmonically rich sound, ideal for blues, rock, and expressive lead work. The intuitive control layout makes dialling in the perfect blend effortless, while the rugged enclosure ensures durability for both studio and stage use.
