GAMMA DS-1 Distortion — Serviced, 1990s Post-Soviet

Oldschool distortion made by Yerasov in early 90s. The DS-1 delivers a direct, focused distortion sound with a firm attack, strong presence and plenty of sustain. It has enough clarity for rhythm parts while remaining expressive and cutting for lead tones.

Lower settings produce a defined crunch, while increasing the distortion creates a denser, more aggressive sound suitable for rock, punk, grunge, alternative music and heavier guitar styles.

One of the pedal’s strongest qualities is its ability to remain clearly audible in a full band mix without becoming overly soft or buried.

The Gamma series remained in production for more than two decades before being discontinued, making the DS-1 an increasingly unusual piece of Russian guitar-effects history.

The pedal has been tested and is fully functional.
