This is the legendary, highly collectible reverb unit famous for the iconic "Manufactured by beautiful girls in Milton, Wis." badge on the chassis. These tanks were factory-installed in iconic 1970s gear, including early Roland Space Echo units and classic vintage amplifiers.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & MEASUREMENTS:

To ensure 100% transparency and confidence for the buyer, both transducers have been precisely measured with a digital multimeter. The coils are perfectly healthy and fully within factory specs:

TESTING & PERFORMANCE:

The unit is 100% fully functional and has been thoroughly audio-tested in two different configurations:

1. Tested with a Laney LC-15 tube guitar amplifier – provided a beautiful, lush, and deep vintage spring reverb decay with great response.

2. Tested with a vintage TSM-86 spring reverb driver (a rare, early 1990s Polish DIY kit originally sold with a custom PCB, components, and a short, single-spring tank). The Type 76 worked flawlessly as a premium upgrade in this circuit, delivering a significantly richer and more spatial soundscape.

CONDITION:

The visual condition is excellent for its age, as clearly shown in the provided high-resolution pictures. The outer chassis is clean with only minor vintage patina and light surface marks, with no major rust or dents. Internally, the springs, foam dampers, original wiring, and RCA jacks are in pristine condition.
