Seymour Duncan AJB-1B Pro Active Bridge Pickup For Jazz Bass

The Seymour Duncan AJB-1B Pro is a high-output active bridge pickup engineered for four-string jazz bass, delivering articulate midrange and controlled low-end response. This ceramic magnet single-coil design cuts through a mix with clarity while maintaining the tonal character expected in traditional and contemporary jazz applications. The active circuitry provides consistent output and extended dynamic range across the entire frequency spectrum.

Active Electronics & Power

Powered by a standard 9V battery, this pickup operates for approximately 1,000 continuous hours per battery set, making it reliable for both studio work and touring. The 3-conductor leadwire integrates seamlessly into active bass wiring schemes, and the onboard preamp maintains signal integrity without noise or coloration.

Construction & Installation

The no-poles cover design maximizes magnetic interaction with the strings for enhanced sustain and definition. Installation is straightforward with included mounting and wiring hardware, and the package also contains logo covers for a finished aesthetic that complements any instrument.
