Archer’s Rig is a highly versatile hybrid hi-hat and high-frequency percussion voice, capable of producing everything from classic open and closed hats to metallic percussion, shakers, bells and more experimental textures.
It combines 13 digital sound-generation algorithms and 9 audio effects with an analogue processing chain consisting of a multimode filter, distortion, low-cut filter and VCA. Separate trigger inputs for open and closed hats, velocity control and extensive CV inputs make it particularly expressive when sequenced.
The built-in randomisation system is excellent for quickly generating new sounds, while 96 preset slots allow favourite settings to be saved and recalled.
