Vox Valvenergy Copperhead Drive Nutube Overdrive/Preamp EffectpedalThe pedals in the VOX VALVENERGY series are extremely versatile analog guitar preamps, all featuring the innovative Nutube tube technology, delivering the sound, response, and feel of traditional tube amplifiers. These pedals offer three different operating modes for various applications: as an overdrive pedal before the amp, as a full-fledged preamp for connection to the return input of an amp or to a power amp connected to guitar speakers, or completely stand-alone as a preamp with its own speaker simulation for direct connection to a mixing console, PA system, or DAW. A high-resolution OLED display is centrally located on the high-quality metal casing, displaying the waveform of the guitar signal in real time, providing visual feedback on the current sound settings.A particularly clever feature of the series is the newly developed CHANNEL SWITCH function. This allows multiple VALVENERGY pedals to be connected using a separate cable. Once connected, activating one VALVENERGY pedal automatically deactivates all other connected VALVENERGY pedals. This simulates switching channels on a multi-channel amp, allowing you to change the sound with just one footswitch press – a huge advantage, especially for live performance.The VALVENERGY COPPERHEAD DRIVE delivers the sound of a famous British half-stack amp that defined the hard rock sound of the 80s, producing everything from crunch to lead tones. The pedal features an integrated 3-band EQ with an additional Bright switch, allowing you to quickly find your desired sound.
