About this listing
Ibanez AW4000 BS Artwood Brown Sunburst Gloss Acoustic Guitar
The AW4000 BS sits naturally in your hands as a well-balanced dreadnought, with a satin-finished mahogany neck and carefully dimensioned grip that stays comfortable through long sets and studio sessions. This Artwood series instrument delivers a versatile voice—fingerstyle articulation, strumming power, and hybrid technique responsiveness—rooted in solid tonewoods and modern bracing that cuts through live mix. The unit shows minor cosmetic wear—a small scratch on the lower neck and white discoloration under the finish on the body—that do not affect playability or structural integrity.
Tone & Construction
A solid Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides produces a balanced, articulate tone with natural warmth and sustain that projects on stage. X-bracing internal structure optimizes resonance and projection, while bone nut and compensated bone saddle ensure optimal sustain and intonation across the range.
Playability & Hardware
The 651mm (25.6") scale length and precisely dimensioned neck—43mm at the nut, 55mm at the 14th fret, with 21–22mm thickness and 400mm radius—create a responsive, ergonomic platform built for fluid fingering and stamina. Open-gear chrome tuning machines stay locked in during sets, while the rosewood bridge and hardware deliver reliable performance night after night.
