About this listing
Serial Number: 00492003Weight: 4.8lbsPeace J-160E SpecificationsThe Gibson John Lennon J-160E Peace Acoustic-Electric Guitar is replica of Lennon's 1962 J-160E, which he used extensively in films and recordings. The reissue features an antique natural finish, laminated spruce top, ladder-top bracing, a P-90 pickup, authentic wood body binding, and a signature truss rod cover. It perfectly re-creates Lennon's Gibson axe as it appeared during 1969's Bed-In after stripping off the psychedelic paint job he commissioned in 1967. It's historically accurate right down to the strap based on the one John used. The original Gibson guitar is now displayed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and this re-creation is offered as a limited, numbered edition of 750.Serial Number: 00492003Weight: 4.8lbsBody Style: Round Shoulder DreadTop: Sitka Spruce ply-woodBack and Sides: MahoganyBody Binding: 4-ply top, single-ply back, ladder bracingMahogany NeckScale Length: 24-3/4"Neck Profile: RoundFingerboard Material: RosewoodNeck Binding: Yes, Single-PlyNumber of Frets: 20Inlays: Pearloid TrapezoidsNut Width: 1.725"Headstock Inlay: Yes, Mother of Pearl CrownBridge: Belly upBridge Inlay: MOP dotsPins: WhiteTuners: Nickel Gotoh w/ Pearloid Keystone buttonsPickguard: Tortoise J160EPickups: Traditional P-90Volume and tone knobsLennon signature truss rod coverCase: HardshellStrings: Gibson Masterbuilt Premium Phosphor Bronze Wound
