This solid body electric guitar <strong>GIBSON Custom Shop M2M 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue (LPR94M2M*R961618)</strong>, a unique example made up of premium grade elements, is in every way similar to the original '59, with a lightweight solid Mahogany body, a solid Mahogany neck equipped with a solid Rosewood fingerboard joined using the "Long Neck Tenon" method and "Hot Hide Glue" which optimize the transfer of vibrations. The Custom Buckers Alnico III pickups have been calibrated to reproduce in detail the tone of the P.A.F. of this period. If you're looking for perfectly authentic vintage feels, you'll definitely be totally convinced. As with all Custom Shop models since 2014, Gibson uses a new glue formula ("Hot Hide Glue"), which has the exact properties of the adhesives used at the time. Made from animal proteins, Hide Glue is used in the music industry (notably by violin makers) or marquetry, because it has many advantages, including that of facilitating maintenance and possible repairs.
