Named after Dave Friedman’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan, it functions more like a true tube preamp than a standard solid-state pedal.Key Features & Specifications• Preamp Tube: Uses an actual high-voltage (220-volt) 12AX7A preamp tube running inside the circuit for natural compression, harmonic richness, and amp-like touch sensitivity. The tube can also be swapped out (such as for a 12AT7) to alter the gain structure and tone.• Controls: Features 5 amp-style knobs—Drive, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Volume.
