Made in Fullerton, California.ConditionThis fantastic ’57 Champ features its original lacquered tweed and the legendary 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much purer than the Champ, and this studio favourite delivers incredibly dynamic and glassy tube tones that goes from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a simple twist of the single volume knob. The amp has a newer leather handle and tubes. Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in very clean condition. Overall, the tweed covering looks particularly good, complete with the original nailed-in feet.OriginalityThis 1957 Champ Amp has been well cared for over the years and was recently serviced with new capacitors, resistors, and a 3-prong power cord to ensure perfect operation. Both transformers are original. Featuring the original 5F1 circuit.The original 6″ speaker was no longer functional, so we replaced it with a brand new 6″ Jensen speaker and a new leather handle.To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer if you’re based in Europe.
