A collector's maple snare drum believed to have been manufactured in 2005, based on a stamp inside the shell. Part of the classic series featuring a 10-ply maple shell with 6-ply reinforcement, it is characterized by a bright and powerful sound. Since the hoops are 2.3mm thick?thinner than those on current models?it has a slightly more open tonal character. While there are signs of wear, such as scratches and dirt on the hardware, there are no issues with the sound or tuning, and it is still in good enough condition to be used with confidence.
