This unit’s RAM was expanded fully to 32 Mb while the factory LCD screen was replaced by a brand new very bright and high-contrast LED-backlit display, so there will be no need ever to replace the old electroluminescent panel. Except for some scratches in the upper faceplate as shown in pictures, the unit is in perfect aesthetic and functional condition.Τhe digital (SPDIF) input/output allows direct recording of samples without analog-to-digital conversion, while the floppy disk drive seems to work normally with most floppy disks. Of course it can always be swapped with a USB emulator. It is accompanied by the grey original power cable. With 8 assignable individual outputs, SCSI connectivity for external storage, and full MIDI implementation (including MTC, MMC, and sample-dump standard), the S3000XL integrates seamlessly into both vintage and modern setups.
