Masterworks All Oak

This Japan-exclusive special model features a new outer ply and a unique finish. The shell is crafted from carefully selected oak and finished with the new artisan finish “Mappa Burl.” Furthermore, the “Champagne Mist Over Mappa Burl” finish accentuates the beautiful grain and luxurious feel.

The shell construction follows Pearl’s proprietary “Sonic Select” philosophy, featuring an 8-ply oak design. The outer ply incorporates a 60° bearing edge, delivering a quick attack, a clear, well-defined sound, and a bright, resonant tone. The combination with nickel hardware creates a refined, classic aesthetic that adds to its appeal.

From the finish that accentuates the coloring and grain to the striking badge, the exterior—meticulously crafted down to the finest details—boasts a level of refinement befitting a flagship model. The simple, reliable strainer also offers a perfect balance of practicality and ease of use.

Despite its thick oak shell, the drum is lighter than it appears. While it delivers rich volume and a powerful contour, the sound remains bright and open.
