Vintage Marshall JMP-era 1935 slant-front 4x12 bass cabinet, loaded with a matched-looking 1975 quad of UK Celestion G12M T1511 blackback speakers Each speaker is a 25-watt, 16-ohm, 55Hz model, with speaker date codes appearing to fall between July and October 1975. All four speakers work and sound brilliant. Cosmetically it has plenty of proper vintage character: tears to the tolex in places, snags to the grille cloth, faded piping, and age-related patina to the metalwork. All four castors are intact and working. Rear serial plaque reads A02252, and the inside of the cab is marked “European version”. Great sounding old Marshall 4x12 with the sought-after T1511 55Hz Celestions.

The chequerboard grille is original and dates to around 1970–1971. The move from metal grab handles to plastic handles took place around 1972–1973, suggesting that this is an earlier Marshall shell that later received this 1975 speaker set and/or later hardware.

Plaque Serial Nº: A02252
