Der langjährige Freund Gonzalo Bergara bat Avi, eine großartige Blues-Maschine zu entwickeln, die superleicht und reaktionsschnell ist - das Ergebnis ist die Lion GB. Sie bietet einen federleichten Zuckerkiefernkorpus mit einer Brücke im Vintage-Stil, einem fetten Lollar Charlie Christian-Hals-Tonabnehmer und einem J Street-Steg-Tonabnehmer. Das Ergebnis ist ein Monster-Gitarrenton, der sehr einzigartig ist, mit einem klaren, nicht durchdringenden Top End, definierten, warmen Bässen und einer leichten Anhebung im Mitteltonbereich mit einer natürlichen Kompression, die der Gitarre einenm großartigen "Spank" verleiht.

Longtime friend Gonzalo Bergara asked Avi to create a great blues machine that is super light and responsive—the result is the Lion GB. It offers a featherweight sugar pine body fitted with a 3-saddle vintage-style bridge, a fat Lollar Charlie Christian neck pickup and J Street bridge pickup. The result is a monster guitar tone that is very unique, with a clear, non-piercing top end, defined, warm and fuzzy bottom end, and a slight scoop in the mid-range with a natural compression that creates the guitar great “spank.”
