What’s with all the brand names of Björn Juhl?
BJFE started 2000 in Sweden. Handmade pedals by Björn himself with art and lettering by wife Eva.
Mad Professor started 2002 by Harri Koski and Jukka Mönkkönen in Finland with Björn as a Co-founder. They started out with amps and later made pedals. the early ones were often hand wired.
Mad professor new owners since 2024.
One control was founded in Japan by Kaz Kawamura and has Björn as a master designer.
Bearfoot FX started in 2011 as a collaboration between Björn and Don Rellergert of Donnerbox and makes updates and twists to many of the BJFE designs.
